We train crews where they work. Instead of pulling your people off the schedule and sending them to a classroom across the state, 3P Safety Training sends an authorized instructor to your jobsite, plant, or warehouse — and your whole crew gets trained, tested, and documented in one visit. More than 1,000 companies have run their people through the 3P Safety family of training programs.
Every class is instructor-led and in person — taught by OSHA 500 and 501 authorized outreach trainers, not a video portal that prints certificates. We're founder-led by a working operator, crane inspector, and lift director who's been in the field since 2005 — the person who built your curriculum is still out running lifts and audits every week. Need crane or rigging certification? That lives with our sister outfit, 3P Safety Crane & Rigging Training.
What We Deliver — Four Course Clusters
One provider, about 25 course lines, one standard of documentation. Everything below is delivered on-site at your location, sized to your crew, and backed by the written and practical records an OSHA compliance officer actually asks for.
OSHA 10- & 30-Hour Outreach — Real Cards, Taught in Person
The OSHA Outreach Program is where most site orientations start: a 10-hour card for workers and a 30-hour card for foremen, supervisors, and safety leads. General contractors and host employers ask for them by name, and plenty of states and municipalities require them outright.
Ours are taught the way OSHA intended — live, by an authorized outreach trainer. Construction courses run under our founder's OSHA 500 authorization; general-industry courses are taught by our team's OSHA 501 authorized trainer. Your people ask real questions about their real site and get real answers, and every student receives the official Department of Labor card. What we don't sell: self-paced online-video cards. If a whole crew needs cards before a mobilization date, we bring the class to your schedule.
Competent-Person & Operator Training
OSHA doesn't just require training — on the highest-risk work it requires a designated competent person: someone with the training and the authority to spot hazards and shut work down. Fall protection, confined space, scaffold, excavation — each standard calls for one by name, and when OSHA shows up, "who's your competent person?" is the first question asked.
Equipment side, forklift and aerial-lift operators need formal instruction, a hands-on evaluation, and documentation with a name signed to it — and re-evaluation on a clock. We run both: your operators train and evaluate on the equipment they actually run, in their own facility, and you get the records that survive an audit or an insurance review.
Why 3P Safety — Who's Actually Teaching Your Crew
Most training companies won't tell you who walks through your gate. We lead with it. 3P Safety was founded by Patrick Salazar — an OSHA 500 authorized construction outreach trainer who is also a working NCCCO-certified mobile crane operator (all three designations), tower crane operator, certified crane inspector, and lift director, in the field since 2005. He has planned and run the critical lifts, the confined-space entries, and the fall-protection plans your people are being trained on — including on federal contracts where the standards get checked line by line.
That experience sets the bar for every instructor who teaches under the 3P Safety name:
- OSHA 500 & 501 authorized outreach trainers — construction and general industry
- NCCCO-certified founder — mobile (LBC/TLL/TSS) and tower operator, inspector, lift director
- In the field since 2005 — instructors who still work the trade they teach
- Federal-contract experience — training delivered to the standard government sites enforce
- First Aid / CPR / AED instructor credentials on staff
- Audit-ready documentation — sign-in sheets, tests, evaluations, and cards, filed and delivered
Anywhere Your Crews Work
We're headquartered in Goldsboro, North Carolina, but the training happens wherever your people are — our instructors travel to jobsites and facilities in all 50 states. One superintendent call covers a crew in Charlotte and a crew in Phoenix, on the same standard, with the same paperwork. There's no branch network and no franchise variation: just the course you booked, delivered at your site.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you deliver safety training at our jobsite or facility?
Yes — that's the whole model. Our instructors travel to your jobsite, plant, or warehouse anywhere in the U.S. and train your crew on-site, on your schedule. We're headquartered in Goldsboro, NC, but there's no classroom you have to come to.
Which safety courses do you offer?
About 25 course lines: OSHA 10- and 30-hour outreach (construction and general industry), competent-person courses (fall protection, confined space, scaffold, excavation), forklift and aerial-lift operator training, and a full slate of compliance topics — HazCom, lockout/tagout, respiratory protection, arc flash, silica, HAZWOPER, and more. Crane and rigging certification lives with our sister company, 3P Safety Crane & Rigging Training.
Are your OSHA 10 and 30 cards official DOL cards?
Yes. Courses are taught in person by authorized outreach trainers — OSHA 500 for construction, OSHA 501 for general industry — and every student who completes the course receives the official Department of Labor card. We do not sell self-paced online-video cards.
How many people can you train in one session?
OSHA caps outreach classes at 40 students per class, and we keep hands-on courses smaller so every operator gets real reps and a documented evaluation. Tell us your headcount and we'll scope the number of sessions in the quote.
How does pricing work?
Every quote is built for the job: the course, your crew size, and your location. Request a quote through the contact page or call (252) 229-5238 and we'll price it same-week — one number, no per-student surprises.
How far in advance should we schedule?
We schedule around your project calendar, not a fixed classroom calendar. If a mobilization date or an audit is bearing down on you, say so — we build the training plan to the date you have to hit.
