Founder-Led, Field-Built
Patrick Salazar founded 3P Safety after two decades in the field — he has been on cranes and jobsites since 2005. He is an OSHA 500 authorized construction outreach trainer, an NCCCO-certified mobile crane operator across all three designations (Lattice Boom Crawler, Telescopic Boom Truck, and Telescopic Boom Swing Cab), a certified tower crane operator, a certified crane inspector, and a qualified lift director, with federal-contract experience. The curriculum your crew gets was built by someone who has actually planned the lifts, entered the spaces, and written the fall-protection plans the standards describe.
General Industry outreach courses (OSHA 10 and 30, General Industry) are taught by our team’s OSHA 501 authorized trainer — so both sides of the outreach program, construction and general industry, are covered by authorized instructors under one roof.
Part of the 3P Safety Family
3P Safety Training is one of the 3P Safety companies, alongside Crane & Rigging Training, Equipment Inspections, and Safety Staffing — headquartered at 309 N William St, Goldsboro, North Carolina. One family of companies, one standard: training, inspections, and safety professionals an auditor can trust.
How Training Is Delivered
Every course is delivered on-site at your facility or jobsite, anywhere in the U.S. Our instructors travel to you; your crew trains on their own floor, their own equipment, and their own hazards. Whether it’s OSHA 30 for your supervisors, forklift certification for the warehouse, or fall protection for the crews at height, the class comes to your schedule — including nights and turnarounds. Goldsboro, NC is our headquarters, not a school you have to travel to. And every course produces the documentation an OSHA compliance officer or insurance auditor asks for: rosters, tests, hands-on evaluations, and cards.
Who We Train
The companies that call us look different on the surface and identical underneath: they have crews doing regulated work and an obligation to prove those crews were trained. We deliver on-site courses for general contractors and their subs, manufacturing plants, warehouses and distribution centers, utilities and energy contractors, municipalities and public-works departments, and federal-contract job sites where the training documentation gets audited harder than the work itself. Some clients book a single forklift evaluation day; others run standing programs that cycle every new hire through OSHA 10 before they touch the floor. Both get the same instructors and the same records.
The Documentation Standard
Training that cannot be proven did not happen — that is how an OSHA compliance officer, an insurance auditor, or a general contractor’s prequalification reviewer will treat it. Every 3P Safety Training session closes with a complete records package for your files: signed rosters, graded written tests, hands-on evaluation sheets for operator courses, and individual completion cards. For powered industrial trucks, that means the certification record 29 CFR 1910.178(l)(6) actually requires — the operator’s name, the training date, the evaluation date, and the identity of the trainer — not a generic certificate with a logo on it. For OSHA 10- and 30-hour outreach courses, Department of Labor cards are processed through our authorizing OSHA Education Center and mailed to your office. When your safety manager gets asked for proof two years from now, the answer is a folder, not a shrug.
Scheduling, Quotes, and How We Price
One conversation, one flat quote. Tell us the course, the head count, the location, and the shift, and the number we send covers instruction, materials, travel, and the records package — no per-line surprises, no travel invoice showing up later. We schedule around production, not the other way around: nights, weekends, turnarounds, and shutdown windows are normal bookings for us, and multi-course days (OSHA 10 for the crew, fall protection for the roofers, forklift evaluations in the yard) are often the most cost-effective way to use a mobilization. Get a quote through the contact page or call (252) 274-0583 and you will talk to someone who has taught the course, not a call center.
All 50 States from Goldsboro, North Carolina
Our instructors mobilize from North Carolina to job sites in all 50 states. That includes the twenty-plus State Plan states that run their own OSHA programs — places like California, where Cal/OSHA writes stricter rules than federal OSHA, and Texas, where federal OSHA has jurisdiction over private employers. The curriculum is adjusted for the standard that actually applies to your site, because a class taught to the wrong regulator’s rulebook is worse than no class at all. If your crews work across state lines, one training partner who tracks those differences beats a patchwork of local vendors re-teaching the same course three different ways.
What We Don’t Do
We do not sell official OSHA 10- or 30-hour DOL cards through self-paced online videos. The OSHA Outreach Program we deliver is in-person and instructor-led — that is what our OSHA 500 and 501 authorizations cover, and frankly, it is also what works. If someone is offering your crew DOL cards with no live instructor, ask hard questions.
We also don’t rebuild what our sister companies already do best: crane operator, rigger, and signal-person certification is handled by 3P Safety Crane & Rigging Training, and equipment inspections by 3P Safety Inspections.
Also from 3P Safety: heavy equipment operator training and safety program & OSHA compliance consulting.
