3P Safety Training serves Spokane employers on-site: our instructors come to your facility or jobsite, run the courses live, evaluate on your equipment, and complete the documentation before leaving. The catalog below is the same one we deliver nationwide — scoped to what Spokane work actually demands.
Where the Work Is in Spokane
Spokane serves the Inland Northwest: aerospace suppliers and metals manufacturing in the valley, the region’s medical-district construction, and crews that work sites across eastern Washington, the Idaho panhandle, and western Montana. L&I’s rules travel with Washington crews; we train to them.
When cranes stack up on the skyline, demand concentrates in work at height: harness-level fall protection for the crews, competent-person depth for the leads, MEWP certification for every lift operator, and outreach cards to satisfy the GC exhibit. We stage multi-course visits that catch a whole project team in one mobilization.
Plant-floor training runs on four standards that never leave OSHA’s citation top ten: lockout/tagout, machine guarding, hazard communication, and powered industrial trucks. Mid-size manufacturers book them as a bundle — one visit, every shift, records complete — because that is cheaper than four separate classes and infinitely cheaper than the citation.
Manufacturing demand is the durable kind: LOTO authorized-employee training for maintenance, affected-employee awareness for operators, guarding discipline at the point of operation, HazCom on the chemical inventory, and forklift evaluations on a three-year clock. We keep standing calendars for plants that prefer compliance on schedule rather than by surprise.
The Rules in Washington: State Plan or Federal OSHA?
Washington runs its own OSHA state plan — WA DOSH (L&I) — so the inspectors and, in places, the standards are state-specific. The full picture is on our Washington safety training page; the short version is that we deliver every Spokane course against the state overlay, not just the federal floor.
Working the Waterfront
Port and terminal work in Spokane runs its own rhythm — container yards and PIT fleets, dockboards and trailer moves, and the boundary where OSHA jurisdiction meets longshore rules. For the warehouse-and-drayage side we train constantly: forklift certification at fleet scale, fall protection for dock edges, and orientation-grade outreach cards that terminal operators expect on day one.
The Spokane Training Shortlist
Our Spokane calendar fills with a familiar shortlist — lockout/tagout, machine guarding, forklift and powered-industrial-truck certification, HazCom / GHS, and OSHA 10 general industry — because that is what the work here demands. All of it delivers on-site, most of it combines into a single visit, and the complete course list is one click away when the program grows.
On-Site Training, Spokane Edition
The model is simple: you name the site in Spokane, we bring the training to it. One mobilization can cover several courses back-to-back — outreach cards one day, operator evaluations and competent-person sessions the next — which is almost always cheaper per head than scattering people to public seats. Everything hands-on happens on your equipment, because that is both what the standards intend and what actually sticks. Ready when you are: describe the job or call (252) 274-0583 — course, headcount, site address — and the quote comes back as one number, usually the same week.
Booking a Visit, Start to Finish
Here is the whole process: tell us the course, the crew, and the site; get one price and real dates; hold the class where the work is. We handle materials, evaluations, and documentation end to end. Most first-time clients book a single course and convert to stacked annual visits once they see what one mobilization can carry.
The 3P Standard, Delivered in Spokane
The instructor matters more than the slideshow. Our founder, Patrick Salazar, holds OSHA 500 outreach authorization alongside working NCCCO operator, inspector, and lift-director credentials — and has run the lifts, entries, and plans these standards describe since 2005. Courses here are taught by people who work the trade, and papered to federal-contract standards.
Coverage Beyond Spokane
The instructor who trains your Spokane crew covers the whole region — see also Tacoma and Seattle, the statewide Washington page, or every location we serve. Multi-site employers routinely combine crews from several locations into one visit.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does WA DOSH (L&I) change what training my crew needs?
The core federal requirements still apply, but state plans can add standards and emphasis programs of their own — and WA DOSH (L&I) enforces with its own inspectors. Our courses teach the overlay where it exists, and your documentation is built to satisfy the inspector who actually shows up: the state one.
Our crews are mixed-language — can the class still work?
Training only counts if the crew actually understood it — OSHA says so explicitly. Tell us your crew’s language mix when you book and we will structure delivery, materials, and comprehension checks so nobody nods through a class they could not follow.
Can one visit cover crews from several of our Washington sites?
Yes, and it is the most cost-effective way to book: pull crews into one location for the classroom blocks, then run equipment evaluations at each site as needed. We regularly structure Spokane visits exactly that way for employers with multiple yards, plants, or jobsites.
How does pricing work for Spokane visits?
One number for the visit: the course or courses, your crew size, and the location decide it. Stacking classes into a single mobilization spreads the travel across everything, which is why most Spokane clients book two or three courses per visit. No per-student meters.
Are your OSHA 10 and 30 cards the official DOL cards?
Yes — taught live by authorized outreach trainers (OSHA 500 construction, OSHA 501 general industry) with official Department of Labor cards issued through the OSHA Training Institute Education Center that authorizes our trainers. We do not sell self-paced online-video cards, in Spokane or anywhere.
Our host employer audits contractor training — will your records pass?
That is the standard we build to. Rosters, tests, hands-on evaluation sheets, trainer credentials, and card records are completed on-site and handed over the same day, formatted the way plant and fab contractor-safety gates expect. If a specific host requires extra fields or formats, send us the spec and the paperwork will match it.
